Memorial weekend was sooooo fun!! Thursday, after shopping all day with my sis, we drove to Bucksaw and set up camp. Our friend caught a TON of crappie and cooked it that very night! Nothing like fresh fish beside the lake!! The water was 79 degrees, so we were able to swim and spend time at the beach. Home safe and sunburned!! It was great!

Sunday I took my sis back to the airport. I wont see her again until Thanksgiving. It sure was a fun week with her though!!

Went to see the DiVinci Code last weekend (it was fantastic in case anyone is teetering on the edge of NOT going....GO!!). Monday I saw X-Men 3...it was pretty good too. Now NEXT week I guess it will be Over the Hedge haha.

WOW, has it been a loooooooooong time since I made an entry!! Whats up with that!!?? I have a lot of stuff to catch up on.

Right now my sister is in from out of state and I am trying to shove as much of Warrensburg down her neck before she leaves (haha).

Last night we got together with another friend and had a girls night out at El Vaquero and then back to my house for VIGGO!!! My sister is a HUGE Viggo Mortenson fan and has even his early hard to find movies in her collection. Last night we watched "A Walk on the Moon" WOW, don't let the kiddies watch this one. Great movie though! Expecially great for me as the soundtrack was all great 60's music!! Several Jefferson Airplane tunes! Rock On!

Weds we are getting together to watch the LOST season finale. Mom won't watch it so she has to drive all the way into town to see it! (haha)

Thursday is the fun day!! I am taking her around to shop at all the little store downtown!! I've told her all about Noland at Rock N' Sports and she is excited about the chance of finding a new Viggo DVD! I told her 13 Moons is a MUST and I am thinking lunch at the Tee Haus with a snack later at Java!! Yummers!!!

I find that the closer summer gets the less time I spend in front of my computer screen. The Secretary and I are the only ones at work today for the most part so we did carry out from Mary Janes! YUM-O. The breakfast rocks!

My friend called in this morning to tell me that HER friends husband died from a heart attack yesterday. SO sad....he was 33! THIRTY THREE!!!! That just scares the crap out of me. His wife and 3 children are left to figure out where life will take them now. It's just sad. There really is nothing more one can say. The song below means a lot to me. I still can't listen to it without tears. This played at my Aunts funeral last year. The video makes me think about all those that I have lost that were such a huge part of who I am today. My Grandpa, My Father-in-Law, My Aunt, I miss you all so much. I hope you are riding the drops of rain.
