I love being in my yard in the spring as things are coming back to life. The view from my side of the planet is a great one... Oh and in case you see it, yes what I say is a strawberry bed is really a tomato plant lol Go figure I would label it wrong and not know how to fix it!!

This was a really busy weekend. My baby girl turned 16 Friday! We gathered up several of her friends Saturday and herded them off to World's Of Fun. Spent the end of the evening in a shelter due to the impending tornado. I rode the Monsoon, Fury of the Nile, the Train, some car ride thing, and the Viking Voyage. I know I am forgetting stuff. The girls had a great time and so did we!

Today, Easter. I do not consider myself a very crafty person, but I bought a book on arranging flowers in containers with pictures (this seems to be the key). I made the basket in the picture by using one in the book as a guide. Noone was more surprised than myself when it came out looking pretty good!! I gave it to my mom for Easter.

Seriously, I have to get the date on my camera changed. Does this thing have an instruction manual??? how hard can this be???

What a Friday! I am filling in at work today for a girl who wanted a day off. I know...how kind of me to give up my day off so someone else could have one. Whatever...now I am here and she is out in the sun haha. I am pulling in cash and not having to do much of anything but sit here. I don't normally handle the lobby type stuff, so this is interesting! Did I mention she has a GIANT bowl of mints? Well, had...

Another day....well. another day (haha). Today I had lunch with my friend at the Masonic Lodge. They had the potato bar today. The proceeds went to charity or something.

Tonight I will be having dinner with the same friend at "A Taste of Johnson County" at the University. Only about 20 local eating establishments will be represented. If there is one thing Warrensburg has, it's places to eat. Maybe THAT'S why the new slogan is "Made Fresh Daily"...it's all coming clear to me now.!! Ticket sales to that will purchase thermal imaging cameras for Johnson County Fire Departments. HOO RAH!

Richard Simmons may have to pull me out of the house with a crain if I continue to try and support my community much more (haha).
