I was driving in the car with Misty the other day and I had a CD in. The CD clicked over to "I'm Turning Japanese". She started laughing and she said "You know what that song is about, don't you". "Sure, I said...it's about a guy who ummm wants to turn Japanese" (Thinking back to the whole Karate Kid era and thinking I was so very smart). She says "It's about masterbation". "NO WAY!!!" How could such a great song be about some teenager into self love! Alas...I listened a little closer and you COULD get that idea. Oh who am I kidding, he's wacking off.

This takes me to all those issues where the school board won't let 3rd graders wear certain clothes or what have ya. As adults, I think we forget that kids see (and hear) things differently than we do. This would be why Universal can get by with all the adult refernces in Shrek...kids just don't know it can mean something different. So, stop being so uptight! Seriously, It's not "dirty" until we point it out to them. How about we stop pointing it out to them and let them remain as innocent as possible, for as long as possible.
