WOW!! What a trip!
Wednesday I was in attendance at the "Get Motivated" seminar in Kansas City. I was able to be in the same room with the very motivating Zig Ziglar, the very funny Jerry Lewis, formor New York City Mayor Rudy Juliani, and the patriotic General Tommy Franks. These are just a handful of the speakers! It was quite moving listening to Mr. Juliani speak of 9-11 and the following days. I can't imagine how he was able to deal with the emotional overload while holding the city on his shoulders.
Thursday I hopped back in the car and drove in the other direction to Columbia, MO and my business convention. Lordy, Lordy!! Another girl in the office attended with me and after sitting through several speakers again that day we headed for the hotels hospitality room. Affectionatly reffered to as "Spanky's". We crawled back to the room around 3:00AM and had a refreshing 3 and 1/2 hours sleep before having to wake for the morning sessions.
I'm finally home and ready for some relaxation!!
