The sewage backup problem was a stinky situation but it was nothing really. A tree root had found it's way onto a pipe and caused the stoppage. EWWWWWWWWW. Anywho...all is well with that

I am hosting a Pampered Chef Party on Monday. My friend Amanda just started selling it and I am helping her out. It was kind of a last minute kind of thing. I'm making rum rollovers (woohooo)and strawberry shots (where you hollow out a strawberry a little and fill it with hersey's chocolate syrup, then top it with whipped cream) YUMMERS!!!

WOOOOHOOOO I have a 4 day weekend because of Columbus Day. I don't know why we even HAVE a Columbus day. He didn't discover anything the Native Americans didn't already know about. It does have me thinking though...Maybe I will run into Wal-Mart with a flag and claim it as my own!

As PMS shows it's ugly head to society I sit at my desk. Drinking coffee and listening to my co workers have an extensive conversation about a vibrating phone. Ahhh... the complexity of the moment is almost frightening.

Oh great another tidbit of good news. My mom just called to tell me there was sewer backing up in the home I rent out. There are 2 military guys living in it right now and apparently they are now accompanied by drains full of waste. My step-dad is going to look at it *sigh*. I know hubby can't fix it...he gags over spoiled bananas!

You know, this day COULD get a little better anytime now :o)

My friend made me laugh histerically yesterday. Everyone needs a good belly laugh now and again. He asked me if there was a place to go to see other people's blogs. Then he went on to say how that sounded perverted and screamed something like "SHOW ME YOUR BLOG, BABY!!!" LOL. Maybe you had to be there.

As you can see I am hard at work another day here at the office. The agents are gone today so it's just me and Kim, the secretary. I kind of like it when they are gone. I can get caught up on things without them interuppting me every couple of minutes!!

My daughter looked soooooooooooooooooo cute in her "toy soldier" outfit for the band. She hated it lol. They did pretty well for the first time out. Well....they got 6th place out of 7 middle school marchers. I told her they would do better next time, once they have more practice. I'm not sure she was convinced. They played "Locomotion" She was the cutest lil blong piggy tail wearing kid out there.
