Today was a decent day at work. There was a little whining, but that was mostly me. I am ready for the weekend!! I'm going shopping tomorrow for a fall wardrobe. Nothing like clothes shopping to get a girl all excited!! Forget dinner and a movie, buy me shoes.

I am thinking of going to the movies this weekend. I dunno. I hate to plan ahead lol.

My daughter is in her first parade marching on Saturday. She hates the uniforms, and I gotta tell ya it's a founded hatred. Those things are terrible. For a teen who insists on Abercrombie this is TORTURE!!!

I found the car!! I am the proud owner of a 2002 Dodge Neon. It's a cute little blue machine. My last car was blue....I wander if I get them because they match my eyes *blink* *blink*.

My son is "pimping" out his car with the new steering wheel cover we bought him. He gets my old car the '89 mustang. Of course he can't drive it yet. He does sit in it and listen to the radio. *shrug*

I have open house at my daughters school tonight. I will sit in each of her classes in those little desks and then after 5 min the bell rings and I am wisked away to the next class for another round of refreshments and small talk. Personally, I was hoping for beer. She tells me they can't serve that there. I cried.

My friend ce is going to be okay :o) She is home from the hospital!!! Now they shall surround her with pillows and never make her do anything ever ever ever. Oh, wait....that's my dream.

What an interesting couple of days. My friend cece had a heart attack Saturday. She's like my age! The reality of aging slaps me in the face. She is doing well and expected home by the end of the week. The miracle of modern medicine beats the heck out of a couple of minced weeds and chicken blood fed to you by a cavewoman. Did they have cave chickens?
