Greetings earthlings!!! Good grief! You would think I could get at least a post a week in here. Maybe that should be my New Years Resolution. It's not to late to make on e in Feb is it? Naw, it's my resolution and I can make it anytime I like.

No update on me really needed. Other than in the last several months since I have posted my favorite web news site bit the dust, my best friends husband moved in with me and then back out a couple months later (probably NOT what you are thinking), my basement flooded, and I caught a cold. I am SO ready for the warm weather! I need to get nationwide, people!!!

Ok, I know it's been forever since I have posted anything but I have been seriously busy. Are you ready for this...I have joined a BELLY DANCE CLASS!! It's hilariously fun and I am getting a great workout! We are all learning moves to a dance routine and then we are going to perform! It's awesome! I would encourage all women to do this (even if just once) to get in touch with thier bodies and inner goddesses!! Dance is great! And if I can do it anyone can!

I am getting ready for fall...the house looks very fall-like and I had to break out the long sleeves. What is with this weather!?

And check out the pirce of gas! Who ever would have thought we would be happy to see $1.93 per gallon!

Big & Rich were AWESOME last night!!!! OMG! The stage was on fire and the drums beat deep into your chest. It was amazing. Last night at the State Fair the Freak Parade was in high gear! If you haven't heard it already check out thier new song "The 8th of Novemeber". There wasn't a dry eye in the place when the Vet's came walking out on stage. Check out the link!

Well, girls night out was kinda lame. We went to Copper and had dinner and drinks. I have to admit it was fun ordering the young waiter around. I am thinking old 30 something women should never be left of thier own devices with mexican food and hurricanes. Spooky!

After that one of us left and the remaining 3 of us went back to my friends house and watched a movie. Normally I am all abut Johnny Depp, but this movie was really a downer. I forget the name, but it starts with an "L". Johnny plays a man who loves the ladies back in the day and gets syphilis and dies. There ya go! No need to see the movie folks...this one is a done deal. Not a very uplifting sort of movie. I watched it and made my retreat.

The company was great. I love my friends. But next time I think I will chose the activity :o)

One day closer to my girls night out! WhooHoo!! We still have no idea what we are doing but I imagine it will involve food, music and tunes.

There is so much going on right now. My mother in law has just moved to the area and we are getting her settled, there are school clothes to be purchased and vacations to take agghh! Ok, I am looking forward to the vacation part of it. I'm also looking forward to the State Fair! I have 2nd row tickets to Big & Rich with Cowboy Troy!! YAY!!! Rockin' good times I must say!

I am feeling the need to go back to the lake. Sure wish it would cool a little so I could pitch my tent and stay a weekend by the water staring at the stars. Until then...I'll stay in the air conditioning and stare at other things.

IS IT STILL MONDAY!!?? I am in some serious need of this weekends festivities. GIRLS NIGHT OUT!!!!
